I position myself as an institutional pragmatist. I believe in law and order, but I am not bound by stubborn rules.

"Politics is the art of the possible, the attainable — the art of the next best."

This quote from Otto von Bismarck, which I encountered in my first university lesson, aptly summarizes my four years of study. In politics, nothing is impossible; everything revolves around communication, negotiation, and compromise. My bachelor's degree in public relations and politics has shaped my understanding of the world and human interaction. I have explored various political philosophies and ideologies, from liberalism to conservatism and from rational choice theory to realism. Each school of thought offers different, sometimes contradictory, perspectives, training me to view issues from multiple angles.

👨🏼‍🔬 STEAM & AI Educator

I hold a Master's Degree in STEM Education, have supported research on coding education, and currently teach an AI literacy program at a local university. My IT journey began in secondary two (grade 8) when my cousin rooted my Samsung Galaxy S1, though the seed was likely planted earlier when my parents enrolled me in various computer courses during primary school. Despite my formal computer education ending at secondary 3, I began self-learning Python in secondary 5. Being a self-taught programmer allows me to learn and create without restrictions.

I am proficient in programming languages like Python and JavaScript, familiar with environments like Linux, and experienced with various data science models and tools. Before pursuing my master's degree, I taught STEAM courses from kindergarten to secondary school as extracurricular activities. My master's studies deepened my understanding of pedagogy. The most fascinating aspect of teaching, beyond imparting knowledge and sharing ideas, is discovering what I am unfamiliar with (Feynman Technique). Teaching AI literacy courses has driven me to learn AI concepts and explain them to laypeople confidently. If someone like me, without a STEM background, can learn and teach STEAM and AI, anyone can.
